Make sure that you complete packing all your belongings a day before the Move. Be ready as the crew of the Mover arrives at your door step. Keep the check list of the cartons to be packed on hand, and tick the items off the list, as they are being loaded onto the Moving Vehicle.

Better be physically present when the driver of the Moving Vehicle and the crew of the Moving Company arrive at your door. Better Supervise the loading yourself. Sign the inventory, and make the driver of the Moving Vehicle also sign the inventory. Always keep a copy of the inventory with you. Remember to give the driver your mobile number, and collect his number as well.

Carefully check, for damages, your belongings and automobiles as they are being unloaded. Go through the inventory carefully and look if any of your goods have gone missing on the move. Incase, some of your goods have gone missing, or have been damaged on the Move, file for the damages immediately. Write a complaint, stating the same, and get it signed by the driver.
